INDEX FORWARD / PRIVACY NOTICE

Privacy notice.

How Index Forward handles information on this website.

About this notice

Index Forward is a software product studio. This notice covers indexforward.com and inquiries sent through its website. Linked products and services can have their own privacy information and terms. This marketing website does not connect to your email accounts, calendars or messages.

Information you provide

The contact form asks for your name, email address and message. Topic is optional. We also retain the submission time, originating page and form information needed to manage the inquiry. Please do not send passwords, payment details, confidential datasets or sensitive personal information. If you email team@indexforward.com, the correspondence is handled in our business email system.

How we use inquiries

We use your details to answer your question, discuss a product or technical project, and manage the resulting conversation. Sending an inquiry does not enroll you in marketing. The form does not send automatic visitor acknowledgment emails. A notification can be sent to our approved team inbox so an administrator can respond.

Storage and access

Native website inquiries are stored in VioletCMS on AWS infrastructure in the United States (us-west-2). Authorized Full Administrators can inspect and manage submissions. Our shared administrator roles currently allow access across the websites we operate; access is not limited to a separate Index Forward-only inbox role. Business email and infrastructure providers process information as needed to deliver those services.

Retention and deletion

New, unconverted website inquiries are reviewed and deleted manually after 90 days; deletion is not automatic. Correspondence needed for an ongoing relationship or recordkeeping may be retained longer. Older correspondence and records collected through separate product or subscription services are reviewed in their original context. Contact us to discuss access, correction or deletion.

Recovery backups

Deleted records can remain in protected recovery copies and are not immediately removed from every backup. The current off-host lifecycle expires current objects after 30 days and noncurrent versions after a further 30 days. Local recovery copies have no automated expiry and are handled by authorized operators. If recovery brings back information subject to a deletion request, that request must be considered again when the data is restored.

Cookies, security and technical information

The website uses a cookie to remember your light or dark appearance preference. Native forms use validation, short-lived submission tickets, a hidden spam field and request limits to reduce abuse. Infrastructure may process technical information, such as network information and error details, for delivery, security and troubleshooting. This marketing website does not add advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Its web fonts are served with the site. Administrator sign-in is separate from ordinary public browsing.

Other sites and subscriptions

Following a link to a product, documentation service or other website brings you under that service’s own information and policies. A separate newsletter subscription is a separate choice; the contact form does not subscribe you. Existing newsletter and preference services remain separate from the new contact inbox.

Your requests and questions

Email team@indexforward.com or use the contact form to request access, correction or deletion, or to ask about this notice. We may ask for information needed to confirm that a request concerns your own data. The rights available to you depend on applicable law; this notice does not limit them.

Changes

We will update this page when the website’s information handling changes. Updated October 20, 2026. See the website terms.
